Tranemo municipality – free menstrual products for all municipal organizations: “A question of gender equality”

Tranemo municipality is collaborating with RedLocker to provide all municipal organizations with free menstrual products.

On Tuesday morning, P4 Morgon i Sjuhärad went to Tranängskolan in Tranemo, where free menstrual products are now accessible to students and staff.

“First and foremost, Tranemo municipality works a lot for gender equality. We have seen that there is a need and the municipality has recognized that there is a lack of access to menstrual products", says vice-principal Carl-Henric Havilehto and adds:

 “It's a question of gender equality because your period can come at any moment. Here, menstrual products are available in three places on the school premises."
